Lori Samuel
Lori Samuel became a member of St. Barnabas when her family moved to Greenwich in 1975. Her father, the Rev. Richard Van Wely, served as rector of St. Barnabas for twenty-seven years. Among her many roles at St. Barnabas, Lori served as a warden as well as clerk of the vestry, taught church school for many years, and served as a delegate to the diocesan convention in Hartford. She remains active in the outreach, parish life, and buildings & grounds committees. She and her husband, Mark, have two daughters, Nicole and Rachel, both of whom were baptized at St. Barnabas and have served as acolytes.
