In the Episcopal tradition, clergy and laity work in mutual ministry to lead the people of God. The vestry is like the governing board of St. Barnabas. It is chaired by our priest in charge, Father Justin, and led by four officers. The vestry meets regularly to do the business of St. Barnabas, review the church’s finances, assets, and property, and discuss how the church can best fulfill its mission as an organization: to bring people into friendship with God and one another in Christ. Vestry members serve three-year terms, while officers serve (renewable) one-year terms. Every member of the vestry is available to discuss your thoughts on how St. Barnabas can be a place of grace for a world in need.
